I see leaves
Falling,
Like crystal tears
From darkened eyes.
I see Autumn,
Cruel and unkind,
Weaving dark magic
Upon Summer’s light.
I see darkness
Slowly forming
In the mind
Of a troubled soul.
I see night,
Dark and foreboding,
As nightmares dance
Upon crimson hearts.
I stand alone
As timeless storms
Shatter the silence
Of distant dreams.
I’m lost
All alone
In the forest
Of my dreams,
Where nightmares dance
Upon cruel winds,
Whispering their
secrets
Into the night.
The night is cold,
Yet still I walk
Through the darkness
Of stark memories
As they dance
Upon stormy seas,
Taunting me,
Tempting me
Into the darkness
Of barren dreams.

She catches moments
On sunken dreams,
Whilst flying high
On gossamer wings,
As memories dance
Upon cruel night,
Whispering magic
In gentle hues,
As slowly,
Gently,
She rises,
Embracing the light
Of this brand new day.
Sunken thoughts
Of time-worn dreams
Are carried to me
From across the sea,
